TAMAYAKIN has recently accepted a trainee from Tokyo University of Technology.
Although we have long been focusing on practical training for high school and university students, this is the first time we have accepted trainees from the Tokyo University of Technology.
The Tokyo University of Technology has an industry-university cooperative program called Co-op Training, in which work experience is credited to the university and wages are generated. Although it was a long 3-week training period in addition to regular work, TAMAYAKIN saw the benefits in terms of contributing to the local community and educating young people, and began accepting students.
TAMAYAKIN's new employees acted as caretakers for the trainees and planned, coordinated, and managed the operation of the training.
It must have been difficult to create something without any form from scratch, but I think they did a great job, accomplishing it without any help from senior employees.
We asked the trainees what they thought.
"I was apprehensive about the training with zero work experience, but the caring nature of the senior employees made it easy to work with and allowed me to accomplish many of my goals."
This is the first time that the company has been involved in this project.
In June, we will begin accepting our second coop trainees. TAMAYAKIN will continue to focus on training the next generation by accepting trainees and educating young people with the aim of becoming a 100-year company.
I'm curious about Tama Yakin. "I want to ask a question. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us from here. Please feel free to contact us from here.
