Our business

Tamayakin offers heat treatment services on a contract basis at two plant locations; Tokyo (Japan) and Dalian (China).
At both locations, we offer heat treatment for a variety of processes, ranging from general machine parts to aircraft parts, under high-level quality assurance system.

There is a large variety of metals around us to play different roles and support our life and society.
In recent years, Tamayakin has focused on heat treatment on aircraft parts, becoming one of the hard-to-find heat treatment plants in the world that has acquired a number of certificates for aircraft parts, including a worldwide certificate, Nadcap.
By virtue of the sizable human resources in the quality assurance system and R&D departments that are almost comparable with the number of plant workers, we enjoy a favorable reputation of the quality of our products, technology, and an ability in new business development.

Tamayakin has offered heat treatment to serve in the space development business since the acquisition of the special process certificate of heat treatment on space hardware components in the 2000s. In 2009, the company acquired JIS Q 9100, requirements for aerospace defense quality management system. A high level of quality management capability is demanded for space hardware, such as rockets and satellites, just as it is required for aircrafts. Thus, it is required to provide heat treatment strictly complying with the heat treatment specifications (standard) presented by a manufacturer. Tamayakin is capable of satisfying the standard only because it is a Nadcap-certified company, specializing in special process.

Starting with the acquisition of JIS Q 9100 in 2009, our company has more than 10 years of experiences and a lot of achievements in heat treatment in civilian aircrafts business, including the acquisition of Nadcap in 2012 and Rolls-Royce certification in 2017.
Our product line includes the treatment of engine parts (fan case parts, shaft parts, etc.) as well as accessories (hydraulic components, etc.), passenger cabin equipment (galley, lavatory, etc.), and aircraft parts. The materials we deal with include iron, stainless steel, titanium alloy, nickel alloy, and aluminum alloy. We handle a single item for a development project as well as mass production and MRO. There is a variety of sizes we deal with from palm-sized items to large items of over two meters. As seen above, Tamayakin is capable of dealing with many different materials, quantities, and sizes in our heat treatment process.

Currently, our company offers heat treatment services for mass-produced automobile parts at a plant in China, TAMAYAKIN (Dalian) Co., Ltd. In 2023, when the construction of a new plant (in Musashimurayama City, Tokyo) is completed, we will introduce an automated line to accommodate mass production of automobile parts. In addition, in order to fulfill the carbon neutrality demand in future, we will make it possible to offer technologies, including vacuum carburizing and sulfonitriding, that contribute to create low-carbon society, combined with our original heat treatment technology, aiming to achieve the highest technological level ahead of the worldwide trend. Moreover, we strive to realize low-cost heat treatment services under the mass production system while introducing the quality assurance knowhow developed in our experiences in the aviation industry.
